Updated March 24, 2023: Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty starts off our march through March 2023 game releases. And we just keep getting more amazing launches as the month trundles on. Bayonetta's origin story, Leon Kennedy's remade adventure in Resident Evil 4, and whatever is going on in Rockay City await us in March. Our hopes are up, our spirits are high, and our souls are ready.

This Week's Highlights
- Resident Evil 4's remake launches today (March 24), and we have our review ready and waiting for you to peruse if you want a sneak peek at its magnificence.
- If you're waiting for Silksong to fill the Hollow Knight-shaped hole in your heart, you could do worse than giving Have a Nice Death a play! Our Eric Switzer reviewed this neat little indie title, calling it "a roguelike-lovers roguelike."
- And lastly, our Branden Lizardi played through a Lovecraftian fishing game called Dredge, reviewing it as a surprisingly low-horror experience with enjoyable fish-catching mechanics.
- Crash Team Rumble has a PlayStation and Xbox release date of June 20, 2023, and a pre-order beta will be available on April 20.
- Counter-Strike 2 is apparently a thing, and it's potentially getting released this summer?!
- For all you TMNT fans out there, The Last Ronin is being adapted into a video game, and it will hopefully stay true to the gritty source material that is the original graphic novel.
January 2023 Games
The Dead Space remake comes out in January. Is there any other reason to be excited about this month? Holy moly, Forspoken is set to launch this month too, as is Fire Emblem Engage. 2023 is off to one hell of a strong start based on these three games alone.

March 2023 Games
We waited years for news on the Resident Evil 4 remake. We only have to wait a measly couple of months into 2023 before we can revisit Leon Kennedy's infamous trip to Spain. Not only that, but PC players will be able to dive into the visual splendor of The Last of Us Part 1, Bayonetta fans will get a new origin story, and Remnant: From the Ashes will make a Switch appearance.

After several delays, Dead Island 2 is set to release in April. Footage of the game looks pretty good, and so far, this is the shining star release of this month. But given the intriguing trailers for Meet Your Maker, we wouldn't be surprised if that's the underdog winner of April 2023!

May 2023 Games
It's here. The big one. The one we've all been waiting for. May brings with it one of the most highly anticipated games of all time. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was almost unanimously everyone's game of the year, so it awaits to be seen if Tears of the Kingdom will be 2023's. We've also got Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launching this month, so that's two big ones for May.
